The History of AFP

Alumafold Pacific, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Peter Suprunuk, the founder and president, established the company as a young man with an ambition to build a successful company.

In the beginning, he manufactured and installed window coverings. As the business grew, he saw the opportunity to begin to manufacture some of the metal components used in the window coverings industry. Peter discontinued the assembly portion of the business to concentrate on the manufacture of steel rail and aluminum coil components. The basic decision to shift the focus of the business led to the opportunity to build a company that ships window covering components throughout North America.

In 2002, the AFP Coil Coating division began supplying painted coil for a variety of applications in the building products market.

In 2005, AFP expanded its business activity to include the manufacturing of building panels for roofing and siding applications.

Today AFP occupies a 90,000 square foot building in Whittier, California. The facility houses coil coating paint lines, slitters, rollforming and other machines and warehouses product.

The significant growth experienced by the company is the direct result of dedication to providing exceptionally high quality and service to customers.

The basic philosophy and business practices will continue as we grow. The customer deserves, and will receive, our best effort to produce quality products which satisfy the needs of the market, at a fair price and with timely delivery. This is our goal and promise.
